EMR Bridging
Firemedix Fr-EMR Bridge Training
Firemedix fr-emr bridging training provides the Occupational First Aid or First Responder with the extra skills to become a licensed Emergency Medical Responder. The EMALB exam is not included in the class. It is the students
responsibility to book their test and pay for the costs of licensing. Since 2013 we have had over 500 students go through and had great success at licensing. We have also had 102 students hired by lower mainland fire departments in 2016/2017

Reminder a separate EMALB exam needs to be completed within the year to be a licensed EMR in the province.
Advantages to the EMR are it never expires. All you need to do is maintain patient contacts and continuing medical education credits.
Huge advantage to the EMR is once licensed you are able to take the Paramedic in Industry class and obtain an OFA 3 certificate in 4 hours!!!
